Trip to Canada; Waterton and Cardston

Prince of Whales hotel, it was built in 1912 and is the oldest hotel in the area. The cranes in front are people washing windows.

Mike, Charlotte, Araya and me sitting down to have some lunch after the ferry ride.

This is one of the lakes we saw. We drove up the canyon to get here. I guess there are a bunch of grizzlies around but we never got the chance to see one which was fine by me.

More deer that were trying to cross the road. The canyons were so steep and they were having a hard time finding somewhere where they could climb up the side of the mountain.

I have never seen a black bear in the wild before, and on this trip we saw 5 all together. 2 adults and one Mom with 2 cubs. One was a pretty chocolate brown and the other was black. The mom and her cubs were on the side of the road and we sat and watched them for a good 15 mins.

There were deer everywhere. They didn't spook at all, a girl was jogging down the street and ran right next to one and it just kept eating. It didn't even look up at her. They stressed to us when we entered the park not to feed the animals. I guess they have way to many that are tame hanging around town.

Two Rocky Mountain Sheep that we saw just chillin in someones yard. I got within 10 yards to them. What a sight to wake up to every morning! (another first for me to see)

A female sheep that was wondering the streets of Waterton. She had one of her horns broken off. But it was still cool to see.

A family of 7 Foxes we saw just outside of Cardston. This was the first time I had seen a fox up close.
